Evalu8 System Process Configuration

The Evalu8 social media review system is as flexible as it is robust. We have designed the interface to work in two different ways, depending on how you choose to interact with your clients. In this article, we’ll explain how each method works and show you how to override your default setting when required.

System Process Options

Option 1: Evalu8 sends your customers a message with a request to provide a rating of your business on a one- to five-star scale. Depending on where you set the Good Review Threshold, your customers have the opportunity to post a review on your social media sites or, in the case of a less-than-favorable rating, they can send your management team an email. In keeping with Google’s Terms of Service, links to your social media sites are included on the management feedback page.

Option 2: The second option will send them direct links to your social media sites and forego the star rating process.

System Process Configuration

To configure the Evalu8 system process, log into the Administration page, select Account Settings, then select the green Create Review Forms tab.

Near the bottom of this page are the Review Request Default settings.

To send your customers the star rating systems, select “Reviewers asked to enter star rating before proceeding.”

To send your customers links to your social media sites, select “Reviewers sent straight to social links.”

Overriding the Default Setting

We have included the ability to override this default setting when you create a new review request.

If you want to change the way the system works for a specific review request, select the Yes option under Override Default Review Option at the bottom of the Add Review Request Page.

The system will send your client a message using the opposite functionality of your Review Request Default setting.
